6 Sentence Story

The engine of the fire truck roared and howled as the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the sacred forest of the town. Frantically, the towns people evacuated out of their village, burst into a damp meadow, and lay down to catch their breath. Behind the burning forest, animals and scarred children were rushing out of the devastation. Shortly after the flames had consumed the whole land, the rescue helicopter appeared above the the desperate scene. Children with third degree burns were being clutched tightly by their mothers, corpses of both humans and animals were scattered everywhere. It was hopeless.
